Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Sid J ("we", "us"), the developer of Raunaq. By creating an account or using Raunaq you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Raunaq.

1. Who can use Raunaq

You must be at least 18 years old. You can have one account, and you're responsible for everything that happens on it. If we've banned you before, you may not create a new account.

2. Your account and Mohalla

You can sign in with a supported provider or with your Mohalla account. Raunaq and Mohalla share account and safety systems, so a ban in one app can apply to the other.

3. Rules for rooms, chats and profiles

Raunaq works when people feel welcome. You will not:

• Harass, threaten, bully or hate on anyone, including for their religion, caste, ethnicity, gender or sexuality.
• Share sexual content, or any content involving minors.
• Promote violence, terrorism, self-harm or illegal activity.
• Spam, scam, impersonate others, or sell or trade accounts, coins or items.
• Share other people's private information.
• Record or rebroadcast other people's voices without their permission.
• Use cheats, bots, exploits or unofficial apps, or try to get around a ban or restriction.

Room owners and admins can manage their rooms, including who speaks and who stays. You can block and report anyone from inside the app.

4. Moderation

We may remove content, limit features, mute, suspend or permanently ban accounts and devices that break these terms or put others at risk, with or without notice. When an account is banned, any coins, items or VIP time on it are lost.

5. Coins, gifts and purchases

• Raunaq sells virtual coins and items through Google Play. Some coins are free, from daily rewards and events.
• Coins, gifts, levels, VIP and other items are a limited licence to use features in Raunaq. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be sold or transferred outside Raunaq.
• Gifts you send to other users are final.
• Purchases are non-refundable except where the law or Google Play's refund policy says otherwise. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove the coins or items it paid for, including gifts already sent.
• We may change prices, items and how features work. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in Google Play.

6. Games and rewards

Games and rewards in Raunaq use virtual coins only. You can't win money or anything with real-world value. Where a feature gives random rewards, we show the odds in the app.

7. Your content

You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show and distribute it within Raunaq so the service can work, for as long as it's on Raunaq. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

8. Our content

The Raunaq app, name, design, gifts and artwork belong to us and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify or reverse engineer them.

9. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time; see how to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Raunaq.

11. Disclaimers and liability

Raunaq is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren't responsible for what other users say or do. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and tell you in the app if a change is significant. Using Raunaq after a change means you accept it.
